Dream Academy Theatre Workshop

Safe Place Internation has set up the Dream Academy for double-marginalised refugees all over the world. In 10 weeks time the participants work on personal development, LGBTQI+ and black history, job skills and their creative talents. 

Studio 52nd and Mazi have been asked to host one theatre workshop during this project, which we will do on the 12th of May. We use the Playmaking-methodology, well known from the brilliant plays the kids of Studio 52nd produce, over and over again. 

One of the magic ingrediënts for Playmaking is the support of a buddy, a personal cheerleader during the creative process, your own dramaturg. You will be just that for the particpants in this workshop. 

Before we meet up with them, we will give you a short introduction-course in how to bring out your inner cheerleader!
